AG Students Visit Vijayavani Newspaper Printing Centre, Mysurue

A group of our ArshaGokulam Mysuru students had the enriching experience of visiting the Vijayavani Newspaper Printing Centre in Mysore to explore how one of Karnataka’s leading newspapers is printed and circulated daily.

👀 What They Observed & Learned:

* How aluminium plates are prepared using Computer-to-Plate (CPP) machines

* The four-color printing process using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black

* High-speed printing: 450+ sheets per minute, over 22,000 copies printed daily

* Papers printed on 350 kg rolls imported from Russia and Canada

* Real-time dispatch systems and newspaper circulation to 6 major districts

* The importance of teamwork, precision, and timing in media operations

🧠 Students also learned about the history of Vijayavani, originally launched by VRL Group, and how it has grown into a top Kannada daily.
