Temple Worshippers Society, under the leadership of T. R. Ramesh has spearheaded the campaign for self-governance of temples in the state of Tamil Nadu. Ramesh has been involved in numerous public campaigns to protect temple properties, traditions, and rights, often challenging the HR&CE department’s control and actions.
